DCO publishes the first Digital Prosperity Report to highlight issues in the development of the digital economy

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, September 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) has released the first edition of the Digital Prosperity Report to highlight some of the most pressing issues facing digital economic development and to report on DCO initiatives and programs that DCO member states are working towards Development of their own digital economies.

The first edition of the report includes an introduction by Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum (WEF), in which he discusses the Digital FDI Initiative launched by the WEF and the DCO to support FDI in the digital economy and the global recovery COVID-19. The report also includes an exclusive interview with HE Paula Ingabire, Minister for ICT and Innovation Rwandain which the minister discusses the country’s digital economic policy, the role of ICT in Rwanda development and how DCO membership will help further Rwanda strategic goals in the digital area.
