KSJD News continues to air interviews with every candidate running to represent Colorado’s third district in Congress. Today we hear from Alex Walker.
Walker grew up in Littleton and Eagle County. He studied mechanical engineering at Stanford University. He worked in engineering and technology for eight years and helped build Thumbtack, one of the largest marketplaces for local services in the United States.
His entry into the CO-3 race caused a stir with a launch video that received seven hundred thousand views, followed by TikTok clips seen by half a million people. The Democrat, who describes himself as a politically moderate, queer “engineer nerd,” also says he would work towards sensible, bipartisan solutions.
