China's leadership is “sufficiently confident” that the country's economy will recover, a spokesman for China's parliament said on Monday ahead of a key political meeting in Beijing.
“The underlying trend of economic recovery and long-term growth remains unchanged,” Lou Qinjian said at a news conference.
