Many have accused the current administration in Washington, particularly Biden, of a list of ailments: the economy, gas prices, healthcare costs. Biden is seen as the cause of high inflation, job losses, and pretty much anything else you want to complain about. By the way, the companies of America and the world seem to get a pass, but the goat stays with them. The good news is that jobs that were lost before COVID have recovered. We added 578,000 new jobs, more than double what economists had predicted. Sounds pretty good to me.
The cost of petrol at the pumps has steadily decreased. The Climate Law, which economists widely say will have a positive impact on our economy, is about to be passed. Unfortunately, the provision capping insulin spending at $35 per month was amended by Republicans to remove it. Currently, Americans spend seven times as much on insulin as other countries. A quarter of insulin users ration their insulin at the expense of their health. So, to the critics of the Biden administration, how about you write a thank you note for these improvements? If it was his fault things went badly, it must be his actions that turn some things around, right? Oh wait, it wasn’t administration that got us into this mess, it was greedy corporations. Thank you, President Biden, for moving the Climate and Health Act forward and creating these jobs.
