Talking about the economy these days is a miserable business – inflation, inequality and other issues dominate an increasingly negative discussion. But over the longer term, the US economy has actually outperformed almost all other advanced economies, according to a recent issue of The Economist magazine. Zanny Minton Beddoes, Editor-in-Chief of The Economist, advocates looking at the bigger picture. And we spoke to EJ Schultz, editor at the publication Ad Age, about the ongoing turmoil at beer maker Bud Lite over the recent firing of two executives following the company’s campaign with a transgender influencer.
