The summit will take place at The Hermitage Club in Wilmington
Vermont Business Magazine The Sixth Annual Southern Vermont Economy Summit will be held on May 23, 2023 at The Hermitage Club in Wilmington, Vermont. This annual event is a time for community, community, and business leaders across southern Vermont to come together to think big, learn something new, ask questions, and network.
The theme of the 2023 summit is “Forging Our Future”. With the immediate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in our rearview mirror, we are now at a time when rural communities will have unprecedented funding to carry out vital projects. At the same time, rising costs, local labor shortages and a nationwide housing shortage are straining the capacity of businesses, cities and community projects.
The program of speakers and workshops at Summit 2023 is designed to give our business, community and community leaders a fresh perspective. Throughout the day, we hope you find new partnerships, see creative solutions, find inspiration, and gain momentum to work to shape the future of your community – and our region.
Registration for the 2023 summit will open in March. You can enter your email address at https://brattleborodevelopment.com/join-mailing-list/ to receive regular updates from the BDCC, including Summit information.
