It’s quite a feat as no Telugu or Indian film has ever been so heavily nominated for an Oscar. rrr gets a lot of attention and support in Hollywood, so it’s definitely worth submitting.
Many fans of Telugu movies are wondering why the best Telugu actors are not endorsing this submission right now. The crew didn’t receive any social media congratulations from friends of famous people who worked on rrr, or other big heroes who worked with Rajamouli and his partners. While some celebrities have texted or called Rajamouli, the public acclaim will bring joy to movie fans as well.
Of course, even if these famous people endorse rrr, that probably won’t impress The Academy or convince their members to nominate RRR; Only the quality of the film matters. However, donations provide spiritual support to the film’s creators, most notably SS Rajamouli, who works alone to promote the film in the United States.
