Sharon Osbourne has revealed the heartbreaking real reason why she decided to sign up to Celebrity Big Brother and reunite with her long-term pal Louis Walsh.

The 71-year-old reality star queen appeared on the ITV show as a house renter and will only be staying for a short time due to her husband Ozzy Osbourne's health.

The rock star was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019 and Sharon has now revealed that the real reason she went on the show was to reunite with Louis for Ozzy's entertainment.

Speaking to The Sun ahead of her appearance in the house, the former X Factor judge admitted that her husband loves watching old clips of her and Louis from their time on the hit singing show, which prompted her to relive even more iconic moments create.

Speaking about the clips, she told the publication: “My husband always looks at them and always says, 'Oh God, you and Louis, what a couple.'” And so it makes him laugh.

“And then I'm like, 'Well…' because Ozzy is pretty hard to make laugh and he just loves watching her.”

Earlier in the series, Sharon gave an update on Ozzy's condition, admitting: “He's fine, it's hard for him but he's fine.” He's already started complaining. I last spoke to him on the phone on the way here and he was unwell.'

Sharon also spoke about her friendship with Louis, as their time together on CBB marks the first time they have appeared on screen together since 2017.

However, Sharon insisted to The Sun that the pair remain close since their time together on X Factor ended.

Talking about the secret of their friendship, she admitted: “What is the secret of our friendship?” A very cheeky sense of humor. Very naughty, very, very naughty. I do not know what it is. I think we have a similar sense of humor and sense of fun and naughtiness.”

The star said she doesn't think The X Factor will ever come back as she explained the music industry has changed so much and now new artists are being discovered on social media.

However, it seems that's not the only reason why Sharon doesn't believe there will be an X Factor reunion after admitting on the show that she would never work with Simon Cowell again.

During Friday's episode, Sharon was filled with anger as she said she wouldn't work for Simon again: “not for all the money in the world'.

The star revealed that X Factor's head judge had prevented her from getting a big job on The Masked Singer in the US due to contractual obligations with X Factor.

Speaking to Louis in the star's private bedroom, she explained: “That's Simon, he interrupts you, interrupts you, interrupts you. “He doesn't know how to keep friends.

“Why do you think I’m so damn mad at Simon? Do you remember the year you and I were signed on for The X Factor and it was the first year of The Masked Singer in America and they asked me to do this? I said I would can't because of X Factor with Simon.

“Then they cast it, and then when Simon didn’t call, they called and said, “No, you’re not doing that.” [X Factor]“I missed a big performance. I was angry then.”

She continued: “Do you remember everything that was in the press this year? It’s old blood and young blood.” I went crazy.

“And then he called me. He tried to persuade me nicely. He would always change, change, change. You're the one who needs a partner change.'

She mocked Simon's same-old style of dressing, adding: “Someone who dresses the same way for three decades doesn't see that it's not right. “Nobody's going to tell them, but everything's the same, the same, the same.”

Louis also admitted he hadn't spoken to Simon since the X Factor days, adding: “I haven't spoken to him at all, nothing 'zero'.
