As usual, last night's Met Gala red carpet delivered a number of unforgettable celebrity fashion looks. With the theme “Sleeping Beauty: Fashion Resurgent,” this edition's dress code was announced as a “Garden of Time” to celebrate clothes and fashion so fragile that they can never be worn again.
Amidst the evening's iconic looks, African celebrities clearly understood their purpose and impressed with indelible fashion choices. South African Grammy-winning singer Be silent arrived in a stunning Balmain dress, along with a royal treatment for matching embellishments. British Ghanaian model Adwo Aboah wore a red tailored two-piece from H&M when she announced her pregnancy.
