Although this season hasn’t been easy for QPR, they sit just a tad behind the top six ahead of this afternoon’s Championship clash with Stoke City.
That’s hugely impressive considering they changed managers over the summer when Mick Beale gave up his role as Steven Gerrard’s assistant at Aston Villa to replace Mark Warburton in the Loftus Road dugout.
His squad isn’t quite ready yet but there is reason to be happy for Hoops fans and if they can keep making progress this could be a very exciting season indeed.

The England cricketer, whose left arm twist was instrumental in the Three Lions beating Australia and regaining the Ashes that famous summer, is known to be a Hoops fan.

Certainly one of Albert Square’s most recognizable faces, actor Shane Richie is best known for his role as Alfie Moon on Eastenders, to which he recently returned.

The Cure lead singer Robert Smith is another famous musician who loves the hoops.
Smith followed his father and brother in R’s fandom when he started going to Loftus Road during the Rodney Marsh era.
Alex Tudor
The second English cricketer on this list, Alex Tudor, might have been shorter than Giles, but he was a real entertainer.
Born in Kensington, Tudor has expressed his love for the west London club in the past.
