‘SNL’ Pokes Fun At “Teeny Tiny Statement Pins” Celebrities Wear On Red Carpets With Help Of Host Dua Lipa

Saturday Night Live pokes a little fun at a common form of activism seen on red carpets.

The sketch comedy series put together a fake advertisement for the “tiny statement pins” commonly seen on red carpets in support of various causes.

With the Met Gala approaching, SNL thought it might be the perfect time to promote these pins “when you don't know what to say but want something that sounds like it might be important.” “

Host Dua Lipa helped promote the pins because “I can say whatever I want with them and no one has to know.”

“It's the perfect statement piece to pair with any outfit because it's invisible. I'm actually wearing one right now,” an Anna Wintour lookalike added as the camera zoomed in on her pin that reads “The Devil Wears Prada Isn't About Me.”

Not sure which cause to support?
