Ekin-Su Culculoglu was praised by Celebrity Big Brother viewers after she asked Gary Goldsmith where Kate Middleton was.
The 29-year-old Love Island star asked the 59-year-old businessman, who is Kate's uncle, how the Princess of Wales is doing as she recovers from abdominal surgery.
Ekin-Su was chatting with Gary in the bedroom and said, “Can I ask you a question, where is Kate?”
“So because she doesn't want to talk about it…” Gary said, to which Ekin-Su replied, “You can't talk about it?”
“There’s a kind of etiquette,” Gary explained. “When it is announced, I will give you an opinion.”
Ekin-Su Culculoglu was praised by Celebrity Big Brother viewers after she asked Gary Goldsmith where Kate Middleton was. The 29-year-old Love Island star quizzed the 59-year-old businessman, who is Kate's uncle, about how the Princess of Wales is doing as she recovers from abdominal surgery In January, it was announced that Kate had undergone abdominal surgery and postponed her public appearances until after Easter (pictured in December 2023).
“I hope she’s okay,” Ekin-Su said.
“I know, I've spoken to her mother and my sister, she's getting the best care in the world,” Gary said. “All the family has to do is move the wagons around first and take care of the family before anything else happens.”
“They issued a statement saying: “We will need some time to recover and we will see you at Easter.”
Ekin-Su replied: “I've heard mixed things about Kate and don't want to comment, but whatever it is, we want her to come back.”
“She’ll be back, of course she’ll be back,” Gary said.

Just days after the Princess of Wales was pictured for the first time since her operation in January, an American website published photos of her being driven by her mother near Windsor.
Although officials have refused to provide further information about Kate's health due to medical confidentiality concerns, royal aides have insisted she is “fine.”
After undergoing abdominal surgery, Kate stayed out of the public eye for two months while she recovered.
The pictures were published by US gossip website TMZ but not in the UK after Kensington Palace asked that she be allowed to recover privately.
The answer came in the American celebrity magazine People, which called for transparency about the princess' condition.
A spokesperson told the medium: “His focus is on his work and not on social media.”
The rebuttal comes less than a week after royal advisers condemned the “social media madness” as conspiracy theories continue to circulate about the Princess of Wales' health.
Frantic speculation made the rounds online shortly after Prince William stepped down from serving the late King Constantine of Greece, who died last January while his father, King Charles, was also absent as his cancer treatment continues.
Ekin-Su said: “I've heard mixed things about Kate and don't want to comment, but whatever it is, we want her to come back.”
The Princess of Wales was last seen at Sandringham at Christmas.
However, social media users have put forward a number of wild theories about Kate's absence, including speculation that the princess may be in a coma, being cloned, having a “Brazilian butt lift” surgery, or just that she had a bad haircut and hides until it grows out.
On January 17, Kensington Palace announced that Kate had been admitted to the London Clinic the day before for “planned abdominal surgery.”
It was said the operation was successful but would result in a two-week hospital stay before she underwent a lengthy recovery period at her home in Windsor.
They added that, based on current medical advice, she was unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.
An earlier statement from Kensington Palace said: “The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.”
“She hopes the public understands her desire to maintain as much normality as possible for her children; and your desire for your personal medical information to remain confidential.
“Kensington Palace will therefore only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’s progress when there is important new information to share.”
“The Princess of Wales would like to apologize to all those affected by having to postpone her upcoming engagements. “She looks forward to resuming as many as possible as quickly as possible.”
