Russell Brand’s relationships with women have come into the spotlight as the star faces serious allegations of sexual misconduct.
The 48-year-old comedian and actor was accused of rape, assault and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013, when he was at the height of his fame, working for the ` and Channel 4 and starring in Hollywood films.
He strongly denies the allegations and insists his relationships have always been consensual.
On Monday evening, a former partner spoke out about the allegations – the granddaughter of the late Fawlty Towers star Andrew Sachs.
Georgina Baillie is one of several women with famous parents who Brand had relationships with, but also had very public arguments with their fathers.

On The Russell Brand Show on October 18, 2008, Brand and host Jonathan Ross left a series of lewd answering machine messages for then 78-year-old actor Andrew Sachs.
This included Ross shouting: “He fucked your granddaughter”, a reference to Sachs’ granddaughter Georgina Baillie, whom Russell had dated.
Ms. Baillie gained popularity herself as a member of the burlesque group “Satanic Sluts.”
The incident sparked outrage at the time as Brand lost his flagship ` Radio 2 show following the stunt and Ross was suspended from the company for 12 weeks.
Ms Baillie later told the Sun: “It was bad enough that they recorded these things on my grandfather’s answering machine, but it’s astonishing that the ` saw fit to broadcast them when they could have stopped them.”
Two years before Sachs died in 2016, Brand wrote a letter of apology to him, saying he regretted the “distress, sadness and turmoil” the scandal had caused.
He added: “I apologize for the damage I have caused to your family relationships and for depriving you of your peace of mind.”

At the 2006 GQ Man of the Year Awards, Brand made a rude comment about Do Ya Think I’m Sexy singer’s daughter Kimberly.
As Brand accepted the “Most Stylish” award during the ceremony, he mocked Rod Stewart, who was sitting in the audience.
“This goes to Rod Stewart, who called me out for too much womanizing earlier this year,” he said. “But then again, I tried with his daughter too.”
When Stewart was invited on stage to accept his Outstanding Achiever Award in recognition of his music career, he didn’t hold back in expressing his disapproval of Brand.
“You left with my daughter, didn’t you?” he said to Brand before telling him to “get up.”
An apparently chastened Brand then told the singer that he had “taken her out for a night out,” prompting Stewart to ask, “Have you behaved?”

Brand backtracked on his original comments, telling Stewart, “I never touched that girl.”
“Damn you didn’t,” Stewart replied, adding: “You can’t come here and brag. I’m speaking as a father here.”
It is believed that Brand attempted to apologize to Stewart following the incident, and the pair were later photographed together at the event.
The former Faces singer hit back at Brand, later telling the Evening Standard: “He may be a good player but he shouldn’t boast. “I never did. Russell has been a little shy since I spoke up.”

Although it was never confirmed, in 2006 Brand reportedly had a short-lived relationship with Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Boomtown Rats singer Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates.
That same year, the comedian clashed with Ms Geldof’s father at the 2006 NME Awards.
At the glittering ceremony, Sir Bob, who was accepting an award from the comedian, announced: “Russell Brand – what a load of rubbish!” The singer then turned around and looked the shocked Brand directly in the eyes.

Brand later told the crowd, “Really, that’s no surprise.” [Geldof]I’m such an expert on famines. After all, he’s been eating out at I Don’t Like Mondays for 30 years.”
Years later, in 2015, and after Peaches Geldof died of a heroin overdose, Brand also angered her sister Fifi.
“From what I’ve experienced, a lot of people here tonight are on drugs right now,” Brand told the crowd at an event raising funds for drug addiction treatment. “It was like an avalanche down the back of my toilet.”
Ms Geldof reportedly called Brand a “super-dumb-ass extraordinaire” after the “offensive” and “highly inappropriate speech”.
