Former Miss World Rosanna Davison, journalist Eileen Dunne and Cork TikTok star Miriam Mullins are among the celebrities taking part in the upcoming season of .
The RTÉ show returns to our television screens in 2024 and the first five famous faces who will hit the dancefloor have been revealed.
Among them is model and mother of three, Rosanna Davison, who has previously taken part in Irish reality TV shows such as: B. took part And .

According to Davison, her family likes to say that she's “uncool” when she's on the dance floor, so she's ready to “show them a thing or two” and make her kids proud.
“You forget who you once were when you become a mother… your children take over your life, your world and your thoughts and I'm slowly starting to remember the person I once was! I’m doing this show for my kids too, I want them to be really proud,” she says.
Newsreader and presenter Eileen Dunne is also ready to show off her glitzy glamour. After delivering her latest bulletin last year, Dunne is ready to make some headlines of her own .

The 65-year-old is looking forward to her dance debut and although it will be challenging, she says she will “love every minute of it.”
“I've taken very few Irish dance lessons and I tried taking dance lessons once… when I was a teenager, bar dancing in Tamangos or The Grove in Clontarf or wherever – that's about the pinnacle!” she says.
Cork native Miriam Mullins is known for her comedy skits on TikTok, but we imagine she'll be hoping not to make anyone laugh while she's on the dance floor.
Mullins first gained a following on social media during the pandemic and is now a presenter on Cork's Red FM.

Speaking about her latest project, the social media personality says she is “so excited” to be a part of it .
“It's a great opportunity to meet lots of new people, make lots of new friends and hopefully show off my dancing skills. I don't know if I have it or not. We will see! I've done the odd TikTok dance here and there. “It may not have been well received by the audience, but it’s a different kind of dancing,” she says.
Meanwhile, Wild Youth's David Whelan is “very excited” but also “very nervous” about his dancefloor debut.
The musician and his band, the fourth well-known star in the line-up, recently represented Ireland in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. However, he says is a completely new experience.
“I've never danced like this in my life, so it's a new experience, especially with a partner. Getting used to it is one thing, getting used to the fake tan is another! I don't mind the sequins; I've worn some crazy things in my life so far! Aside from a nightclub dance floor when I was in my mid-20s, I wouldn't say I danced much, but I love it,” he says.

Belfast drag queen Blu Hydrangea will also be appearing in the upcoming season of . After he became famous through the popular reality series Blu was later crowned the winner of the All-Stars season, .
However, there is a chance of accepting it “It’s a dream come true.”
“It was one of my New Year’s resolutions to learn to dance this year. I didn't think it would happen because I was a bit lazy, and now I'm here and I can do it in front of the world, so that's exciting! I continued dancing if you could call it that. I’m sure some people would say a few words about my dancing!”

Six more celebrities will be added to the 2024 program in the coming days . The show, presented by Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy, returns to RTÉ One in January.
