There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13, and longtime star Melissa Gorga is excited to finally tell the full story.
As die-hard fans of the Bravo hit know, this season concludes with the wedding of Melissa’s sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, which the Gorgas ultimately called out after a massive fight that took place during this season’s finale. It’s unclear exactly what happened during the argument, but it’s clear that it marks a turning point in a decades-long feud between Teresa, her brother, and his wife.
On the latest episode of In The Know by Yahoo’s pop culture interview series We Should Talk, Melissa opened up about how she’s feeling ahead of RHONJ Season 13, why she’s excited to share her side of the story, and what she thinks of the new additions cast and how they affect group dynamics and how she thinks the show can move forward amid the rift between her and Teresa.
“I realize there will be my side, there will be my sister-in-law’s side, Jen’s side, Margaret’s side … we will all have a side and we will all feel right in our own minds. That’s what moves the world. You’re hearing a lot from everyone else’s side right now, except mine,” Melissa told In The Know. “I am very confident about what I have achieved this season. I am confident in how I felt about my actions. It is what it is. I have nothing to hide I feel like everything I did was for a reason and the way Joe and I chose to protect our family? Who can disagree with someone who says, ‘We wanted to protect our family?’”
