No wonder some of your favorite stars, who have cost fame and fortune at some point in their careers, have found their way back to the four walls of the university.

In our first celebrity list of 2022, we’re going to take a look at five of your favorite stars who went back to school after their fame.


If you are calling Davido the greatest celebrity in this part of the world, you might not be wrong. Davido isn’t just a music star, he’s a rich kid. He comes from the popular and wealthy Adeleke dynasty from Ede in the state of Osun.

The truth is if Davido refused to go back to school after dropping out of school Oakwood University, Alabama in the United States of America, it would not have affected his status or career.

The steady rise to fame of the billionaire heiress of the Otedola dynasty did not deter her when she returned to the prestigious New York University in 2015 where she got a masters degree in Music business.


Just when we thought the popular DJ was basking in the euphoria of her fame, she returned to school. In 2021, Cuppy was approved for the prestigious Oxford University aim for a master’s degree in African Studies.


The divine Ikubor, also known as Remas of Overnight Teenagers, raised many questions.

Everyone wanted to know how and where the teenager got so much talent from. His educational background was never really an open conversation.

Surprisingly, in 2022, the music announced that he would continue his education. According to him, he was admitted to the University of Lagos aim to study Creative arts.

He added that his mother’s insistence led to his return to school.


If we are talking about an actor who effortlessly interprets his roles in films, then Odunlade Adekola is the best choice. The Nollywood actor has become a household name over the past decade.

He’s one of the kings of memes on social media, while in movies he makes fans and even critics laugh.


In 2018 the playful actor graduated from Business administration from the University of Lagos.

In an interview, the actor debunked claims that he was absent during his time at the institution.


Kanayo O Kanayo does not need an introduction as he is one of the pioneers of Nollywood. The film veteran’s acting skills earned him a reputation that many only hope to achieve in the future.

Although the movie star is a movie icon and a national honorary awardee, the movie star surprised many when he announced in 2019 that he had graduated from with study of law of the Abuja University.
