MTN, Ultima host celebrities, media as ‘Family Feud’ premieres in Nigeria

MTN Nigeria and Nigeria’s leading production company, Ultima Studios, hosted a major industry event on Monday to celebrate the premiere of the globally acclaimed game show Family Feud.

The event had guests from various media platforms, as well as A-list celebrities like Tee-Y Mix and Sharon Ooja, all dazzling the red carpet in stunning attire.

The premiere, held at Ultima Studios in Lekki, featured exciting games where guests won cash prizes. To get guests excited about what will be hitting TV screens nationwide starting October 7, there was a mock “Family Feud” episode featuring two families, hosted by TV show host Bisola Aiyeola. Guests sat mesmerized in their seats as they watched families compete for the ultimate prize.

At the event, Aisha Umar Mumuni, Ag. Chief Digital Officer, MTN Nigeria said, “MTN Nigeria strives to create diverse opportunities for Nigerians to grow and develop, and that includes entertainment. We prioritize the need to bring fun content to families who are healthy. Family Feud Nigeria does exactly that, bringing out the authenticity of Nigerians, starting with the wonderful host, Bisola. We’re excited to see Nigerian families winning on the show and the various digital games, it’s all very exciting.”

Family Feud Nigeria will air on DSTV & GoTV’s Africa Magic Family and Africa Magic Urban from October 7, 2022. Broadcasting will expand to multiple terrestrial TV channels in 2023, with NTA Network taking the lead.

MTN customers can send DFF or WFF to 205 to enter by texting their responses to the Family Feud-style survey questions to win money every day of the week – Monday through Friday. Over 200 subscribers with the highest points will be rewarded with N10,000 each month.
