Plastic surgery isn’t just for women! Many people in the spotlight have chosen to go under the knife to improve their looks. Wonderwall.com rounds them up, starting with this Oscar nominee… Movie star Sylvester Stallone has an incredibly recognizable face, but he’s made some tweaks over the years…

In 1992, Sylvester Stallone told People magazine that he was bornBecause the nerves on the left side of his face were damaged at birth — he was delivered with forceps, which left him with a crooked mouth — and because his face later gave way when he lost weight in preparation for “Rocky,” he had surgically lifted that half of his face. He also told the magazine he has no problem with cosmetic surgery, explaining, “Why not? You have body work on your car.” In recent years, doctors have speculated to Closer Weekly that the “Rambo” star has also had eyelid lifts, a brow lift and a neck lift.

Mickey Rourke’s boxing career resulted in damage to his handsome face, which meant he had to go under the knife and undergo reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, he didn’t choose a good doctor. “Most of it was to fix the mess on my face because of boxing, but I went to the wrong man to put my face back together,” he told MailOnline in 2009. “I had broken my nose twice. I’ve had five surgeries on my nose and one on a shattered cheekbone.” He was seen here in 2010 after those surgeries.

In 2016, Kanye West – seen here in November – didn’t feel like he was looking his best. The rapper decided to quietly undergo plastic surgery.

In 2018, Kanye West opened up about liposuction to TMZ. “I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all,” the rapper (pictured in early 2017) said while pointing at his midsection. “I got liposuction because I didn’t want you guys to call me fat like you guys call Rob [Kardashian fat] at the wedding and let him fly home before me and Kim [Kardashian] have married [in 2014]. I didn’t want you guys to call me fat, so I got liposuction.” He shared that after his surgery, he became addicted to the opioids he was prescribed to help manage the pain during his recovery , and that he went off the medication just before he was hospitalized amid a mental health crisis in late 2016.

Simon Cowell has long been open about his love for Botox. But in 2015, after noticing he couldn’t move his face much, Sharon Osbourne announced he was cutting back. “Hopefully I look better now — I probably had a little too much botox a few years ago because everyone on TV has it,” he said at the time. “Now I have facials, but nothing too extravagant at the moment.” But that would change a few years later…

In 2018, Simon Cowell opened up about his plastic surgery, telling The Sun on Sunday that he had visited cosmetic surgeon Jean-Louis Sebagh for a Silhouette Soft Lift. The $2,700 procedure, the paper wrote, “involves sewing bioplastic-enriched threads into the face and neck and pulling on them to get rid of sagging skin.” The America’s Got Talent judge told the paper, “There’s lots of things to do right now. It’s not just about stuffing fillers and botox on your face.” A few years later he would change his tune again…

What a difference a few years make! “There is now no filler at all on my face. Zero”, Simon Cowell said the sun in 2022. The star – seen here in April – insisted he was done with injections after noting he looked “like something out of a horror movie”. The ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge admitted: “There was a phase where maybe I went a little too far. I saw a ‘before’ picture of me the other day and didn’t recognize it as me.”

“GTL” – gym, tan, lingerie – was the motto of the Jersey Shore boys, including star Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio (left), who loved showing off his abs on the beach. DJ Pauly D showed off some impressive abs in Cancun, Mexico in 2019, but not just from the gym. The Blast reported that the Jersey Shore star had liposuction. Sources told The Blast that while Pauly was already in good shape, just before that beach vacation, Pauly underwent a tummy etch to accentuate his six-pack abs.

Music star Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers may be young, but he’s already a fan of a cosmetic procedure he’s used to try to minimize unwanted lines and an old scar…

Joe Jonas spoke candidly about his experiences with injectables in 2022 after he teamed up with Botox alternative Xeomin, a double-filtered, purer version of the botulinum toxin used to smooth wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet. He said he also used it to minimize a scar between his eyebrows, going on to tell Allure that he “didn’t feel like a different person [by using it]and that it “has given me that confidence that we all want to feel as we get older.”

Refreshingly, Clay Aiken has been very candid about his plastic surgery journey. The singer told Andy Cohen all about his procedures in 2012 on Watch What Happens Live, explaining, “I had surgery on my jaw for TMJ disease and I had them suck the fat out of my jaw while they were there. I said, ‘You know what, while I’m down, go ahead and get that vacuum in there and suck the grease out of my chin.’”

Chow Yun-Fat not only admitted to having plastic surgery – he offered to refer people to his doctor! “As I got older, my eyelids started to droop,” the actor, pictured in 2012, explained in a 2009 television interview. “I started having plastic surgery in Hong Kong in 1989 while filming ‘God of Gamblers’. If you go to Hong Kong for cosmetic surgery, I can introduce you to the doctor. It’s cheap and good.”

Though Rupert Everett, pictured here in 2016, looks different to many observers and denied having plastic surgery, he told The Telegraph in 2014 that he was a fan of a certain procedure: he had his own blood injected into his face every four months. “You lay [the blood] through a Magimix, turn it into plasma and inject it again. It’s really good for your skin. Blood is the new thing,” he said, adding that “a little bit of laser” is “really good for toning.”
