The Hollywood Walk of Fame has 2,732 stars (and counting), according to his Instagram account. They range from legends of entertainment history to one-hit wonders and everything in between.
Still, some of the most notable entertainers of the last few decades are somehow missing from Hollywood’s de facto Hall of Fame.
So… what’s the heist?
Leonardo DiCaprio

From Titanic to The Wolf of Wall Street, DiCaprio has been on screen for decades and has won multiple awards for his acting, including an Oscar. However, the famous actor has not yet received a star on the Walk of Fame.
His fans are also adamant he gets a star, with about seven starting a petition to get DiCaprio a star about six years ago. Unfortunately no results have come yet.

Prince’s legacy in the music world is not in question (and he has acted). The Wrap reported that the late musician was twice offered a star on the Walk of Fame but ultimately turned it down.
“He felt like it wasn’t the right time,” Walk of Fame ceremonies producer Ana Martinez told TheWrap in 2016.
Prince was offered a star ahead of the 1999 ceremony to celebrate his song of the same name. The Wrap reported that he was offered another star about two years before his death.
George Luke

Filmmaker George Lucas, best known for his work on the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series, also has no star on the Walk of Fame.
Francis Ford Coppola, another notable filmmaker, said Lucas should get a star and even offered to give him his spot, Movie Webb reported.
Jim Carey

Actor and comedian Jim Carrey also didn’t get a star. Carrey has acted in fan-favorite films such as The Mask, Dumb & Dumber and Bruce Almighty.
He also starred in the Sonic the Hedgehog movies as the villain Doctor Eggman.
Carrey announced plans to retire in April 2022, so he might get a star as a retirement gift; Who knows?
Beyonce

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, also known as Queen B, has not yet received a star. Roughly.
She earned a star with Destiny’s Child, the girl group she was a part of with fellow musicians Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The group officially disbanded in 2006 but reunited for several gigs.
Beyoncé has won a variety of awards including 28 Grammy Awards. She also released her seventh studio album, Renaissance. during summer. She released the album Everything is Love with her husband and rap mogul Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter.
rihanna

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, known professionally as Rihanna, also has no star.
The musician, actress and businesswoman has released numerous songs and founded several companies including Savage X Fenty, a lingerie line, and Fenty Beauty. Her efforts earned her the billionaire title in 2021, Forbes reported.
