Longford model and former Love Island star Maura Higgins is among eight celebrities set to record season 2 of Cooking With The Stars on Tuesday night 7 June at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
Hosted by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, Cooking With The Stars will see eight celebrities joined by a professional chef who will mentor, teach and guide them from passionate amateur chefs to restaurant-level chefs.
The eight celebs who will change into their aprons and head to the kitchen are our very own Love Island star Maura Higgins (guided by Jack Stein), dancer and TV personality Anton Du Beke (guided by Rosemary Shrager) and Olympian Kelly Holmes (supervised by Ronnie Murray), This Morning’s Josie Gibson supervised by Tony Singh MBE), Chaser Anne Hegerty (supervised by Jean-Christophe Novelli), TV pundit Dr. Ranj Singh (managed by Clodagh McKenna), comedian Joe Wilkinson (managed by Judy Joo) and DJ Woody Cook (managed by Mike Reid).
In a series of exciting cooking battles, the celebrities are trained by their mentor chefs to prepare delicious dishes, which are judged by the remaining professionals.

Show one is about British dishes. The bottom two of each cooking battle fight for their place and create a dish without the help of their mentor. A blind tasting by the professional chefs decides on the result of this cook-off.
Unaware of whose food they are sampling, their biggest supporter could quickly and unknowingly become their worst critic and vote for their protégé to leave the competition.
Watch Cooking With The Stars every Tuesday from 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player
