Through their social media accounts, the Lakers posted a message with three pictures.
Will Smith appeared alone in the first picture with some of the Lakers championships behind him. The second image appeared Will Smith with all Lakers players at the time of the conference. In the third picture, Smith appears leading the team. They also wrote the following message: “A big thank you to Will Smith for joining the team to discuss strength through togetherness and practicing gratitude in times of great challenge. All the themes in his forthcoming masterpiece film, emancipation.”
Will Smith has already started promoting his film

“Emancipation” is a film set in the United States civil war Era when slavery was still legal but Union and Confederate armies fought to abolish slavery. Smith plays a slave in the Antoine Fuqua Film that already has a lot of ’12 Years a Slave’ vibes. His visit to the Lakers comes just before the start of awards season. All films that are likely to be nominated for awards are currently being promoted. lakers Players heard Will talk about a lot of different topics and he certainly must have addressed his recent controversies.
It’s impossible not to address the huge elephant in the room when we heard this news. Will Smith slowly goes back into society with people who frankly don’t care much about what he’s been doing.
