Koffee With Karan 7: Celebrities who dialled Kartik Aaryan in ‘Hey Karan, it’s me’ segment

It’s undeniable that the popular rapid-fire round on Koffee With Karan is the show’s most entertaining segment. But there is another segment that comes in a close second. Yes, we’re talking about the “Hey Karan, It’s Me” segment on Koffee With Karan 7! In layman’s terms, the show’s guests are meant to call other celebrities and get them to say “Hey Karan, it’s me.” Each call answered by another celebrity earns the guest 2 points. If you’ve been following the episodes so far, it’s impossible to miss one name during the show – Kartik Aaryan.

Kartik Aaryan is one such celebrity who has yet to appear in the show’s Season 7, but his name appears in almost every episode, either in discussions or during the “Hey Karan, it’s me” segment. Now it’s interesting because Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan hit the headlines last year after the two allegedly had a fallout. It was reported that Kartik was set to star in Dostana 2 but was later fired from the project for “unprofessional conduct”. However, both Karan and Kartik have kept quiet about it.

Varun Dhawan

A recent episode of Koffee With Karan starred Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor. During the “Hey Karan, It’s Me” segment, Varun selected Kartik Aaryan. Kartik cheerfully greeted Karan and informed him that he was in Ahmedabad to promote his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. KJo wished Kartik all the best for the film.

Ananya Smith

Ananya Panday graced the Koffee With Karan couch with her Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda. During the “Hey Karan, it’s me” round, Ananya called her Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Kartik, who answered right away. Once again Kartik informed them that he is promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

I say critic

Kriti Sanon, who appeared with Tiger Shroff on Koffee With Karan 7, called Prabhas first during the round. The competition between Tiger and Kriti was close and Kartik’s call made all the difference. Kartik took Kriti’s call and let her win the round. At this point, KJo told Kartik that he might as well appear on the show. “Kartik has been summoned for the third time. You might as well hurry to the show,” Karan said.
