Just Like Us! These Celebrities Will One Day Either Die or Watch All Their Loved Ones Pass Away

It's no secret that celebrities live glitzy and glamorous lives that are unattainable to our normal and non-rich minds, but every now and then it's nice to remember that in many ways they are actually just like us! That's right – just like us, these A-listers ultimately have two possible outcomes in life: either die tragically or see all of their loved ones die before they themselves go. Read on to see which celebs are just like us!

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is an all-round pop star and author of instant hits. Not many can say they wrote the songs “Levitating” and “New Rules” before they were 30 years old. But despite Dua's impressive rise to megastardom and her classic good looks, she too will ultimately be forced to contend with the merciless current of time that leaves you at the foot of your own grave, either to accept your fate and die in peace, or to die to have your life violently ripped from your tight, unrelenting grip. We also caught her eating frozen yogurt once. She really is just like us!

Al Pacino

Al Pacino is a charismatic, respected Hollywood star and a very talented actor. We are big fans of his films, especially the ones in which he shows off his skills in the role of a good-natured mafia boss. But what if we told you that even this A-lister faces the deep suffering inherent in life, including illness, death, loss, pain and the longing for what will never come? Who would have thought we had so much in common with this godfather icon?

Oprah

This was a shock for us too. Even Oprah — a popular TV personality and the only living person with a book club that people care about — will one day be old and alone and wonder: Was it all worth it? What does all this mean? Maybe it felt meaningful in that moment, and yet those moments pass. Everything passes away – the love, the anger, the desire, even the loss. At the end of the day, these are all just toys that we play with and eventually we have to put them all away. Is any of this worth it if we have to give it all back? These daunting questions await us all, including Oprah. She is just like us!

Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay is arguably the funniest TV chef currently airing! We love it when he attacks an amateur chef with that biting British cheek. At the same time, this British imbecile will not save Gordon Ramsay from one day falling to his knees before the cold face of reality, the reality that there is never a right time, that everything feels wrong, and that is the nature of death: There is no mercy, no reason, no revenge, just the promise to come for all and stop for none. Thanks for keeping in touch with us, Gordon!

Bella Thorne

Despite seeming like an invincible product of the Disney teen company, Bella Thorne is – you guessed it – completely defenseless when it comes to the inevitable outcome of this mortal life. But what about her work on Disney's hit series Shake It Up and her advocacy for the dyslexia community? These things may be impressive, but ultimately they will mean very little compared to the feeling of watching everyone she has ever been close to being swept into the jaws of time.

Howie Mandel

This “Deal or No Deal” host has had an illustrious career full of entertainment awards and guest appearances on various TV shows that make you wonder, “Hey, is that Howie Mandel?” Still, Howie will eventually come to terms with the fact have to come to terms with the fact that nothing is promised except the end of consciousness as we know it, and if there is a God, he may be cruel or kind, but he will not spare you the death of your blood, your beating heart and to be stripped of all your earthly ties.

Kylie Jenner's baby

Kylie Jenner's baby, also known as Aire Webster, is one of the most famous babies on the internet today. With a tiny net worth of more money than most people will ever see in a lifetime, Aire already seems to be living a life that is almost impossible to comprehend. But even this famous baby will one day grow up and pass through the ages, drawing ever closer to grief and loss, wounds that only heal with time and then reopen when life takes its brutal course. Yes, even this rich baby is just like us!

Ellen DeGeneres

Last but not least on this list – and a win for some LGBT advocates – is the hugely famous and now problematic star Ellen DeGeneres. Little does Ellen know that the various controversies she has faced in recent years are nothing compared to life's greatest scandal: death and the fateful question of how it is imposed on you. Here's a scandal we can relate to! As it turns out, the now-problematic Ellen is just like us. We're not sure what we think about it!

There you have it, folks! Even though the lives of celebrities can sometimes seem daunting and unattainable, it's nice to remember that they are people like us and that, just like us, in one way or another they experience deep, slow, and only brief and temporary bouts suffering will be the relief.
