Johnny Manahan didn't get the nickname “Starmaker” for nothing, and his recent “Night of 100 Stars” tribute party was proof of how many celebrity stars he has polished up to shine in the firmament of local show business.
Manahan's party, held last Saturday, March 16, at a hotel in Pasay City, brought together the who's who of the entertainment industry from the '90s to the present, who are now making their own from their home base at ABS-CBN have taken paths.
The black and white event was a tribute to Manahan's five-decade legacy, with his past and present talents – A-listers, '90s icons – coming together in one place to toast his nurturing hand and keen eye for talent . The occasion also served as A kind of reunion for ex-love teamsand celebrities who have done it kissed and made up after a controversy.
On the red carpet, Bea Alonzo was an elegant sight in her black bodycon dress with cutouts and floral choker, while Kathryn Bernardo let her golden complexion and brown locks take center stage in her off-the-shoulder white dress. Heart Evangelista opted for a simple black midi dress, accessorized with platform heels and sparkling accessories.

The “Night of 100 Stars” was also an unforgettable evening for Bea and Julia after they appeared to have put aside their previous feud as they were seen laughing together at the event. Julia also reunited with her aunt Claudine and her ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia.
Manahan, also known as Mr. M in entertainment circles, is known for producing some of the biggest names in showbiz. He was the manager of ABS-CBN's Star Magic before joining Sparkle GMA as a consultant in July 2021.
