Joe Lycett’s new podcast is literally a load of shit.
The 35-year-old comedian has found the great balance between celebrities and the rest of us mere mortals by launching a new series in which he interviews celebrities about their toilet habits.
From the most satisfying to the completely horrifying scenes, no stone is left unturned for Joe and his famous friends in the Turdcast.
He said in a statement: “Famous people are just like you or me – they sometimes enjoy a blissful fifteen minutes with a novel and a multipack of Cushelle, or drive down the M6 in a race against time to find a welcome break cabin .
“Let’s face it, most podcasts are just celebrities talking shit – Turdcast is going to make this official.”
Match of the Day star Gary Lineker is the first guest and recalls his infamous defecation on the pitch in England’s opening game at the 1990 World Cup, where people still tell him to “shit on the pitch” whenever he comes across politically on social media.

In a first-look clip from the first Turdcast episode, Gary admitted that he even had to mute a very specific word on X (formerly Twitter) to delete its mentions.
“I’ve spent a lot of time talking about toiletries over the years when my little accident became public knowledge, which was about 20 years after the event – about the same time I went on Twitter, as it was called at the time. ” he remembered.
“Every single tweet I put out, underneath it said – whatever I was talking about!” Say I said, “I’m going to see Joe Lycett this afternoon.” It would be “Fuck Joe Lycett,” a lot of them said , no matter what the topic.

“I’m talking about Manchester City, ‘S**t on Manchester City’.” Brilliantly funny by all! But in the end they had this thing that let you mute words, so I muted “s**t” and I literally haven’t seen any since! It actually works!’
More big names will appear as Joe attempts to lift the toilet lid on everyone’s toilet habits in a series of incredibly candid conversations.
A press release said: “From King Charles to Gary Barlow, we all have to jump to do a toilet, flee to go to the toilet or pull ourselves together to do something – literally no one is too hot to squat.”

“But for all of us, the idea of talking about our toilet habits – the time you got caught walking in on your mate or realizing your toilet roll had run out – is frightening.
“From swamp standards to demon dumps, we all have a toilet story to tell, and you can hear them all now on Mummy’s #1 (or #2) podcast.”
Turdcast launches Friday, November 24th at 9am and is available wherever you get your podcasts.
