Jeremy Clarkson was severely slammed by several celebrities after his hateful column about Meghan Markle, with Carol Vorderman, Dan Walker and John Bishop speaking out.
The 62-year-old Grand Tour host has been met with a spate of backlash after writing about how he despises the Duchess of Sussex on a “cellular level” and wishes people would “pelt clots of excrement” at her.
writing for The sunHe said he hates Meghan more than Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and serial killer Rose West.
Clarkson also claimed that “everyone my age thinks the same way.”
Unsurprisingly, his outrageous tirade drew condemnation from many famous faces, most notably Vorderman and his own daughter Emily, 28, who opposes him.

The former Countdown star, 61, responded to Clarkson’s tirade and made it clear she disagreed.
Sharing the newspaper clipping from the column, she wrote on Twitter: “NO Jeremy Clarkson. No way, under any circumstances, is it okay to write this stuff about any woman.
And an absolute NO to ‘everyone my age thinks the same’. No no no.
“We absolutely do NOT think the same thing. Listen to the noise Jeremy. The crowd chants ‘Shame on YOU’.’

Comedian Bishop also took to the social media platform to blast Clarkson: “WTF is that? I don’t care who you are or who you work for, you just can’t write things like that.
“It is a blatant appeal to demean a woman and incite violence. Some have excused it as black humor. There’s a joke here @JeremyClarkson and no apologies. (see)
Comic colleague Dom Joly said: “Literally flabbergasted by the extremely obnoxious and disgusting comments Jeremy Clarkson wrote in the Sun about Meghan Markle. What an absolute bastard he is… what triggers these types of men?’

Radio presenter Edith Bowman added: “What a vile misogynist @JeremyClarkson is but also how can anyone print such offensive comments in a real newspaper.”
Author Philip Pullman also voiced his upset over Clarkson’s column.
“That Jeremy Clarkson could write something like this and publish it shamelessly tells us everything we need to know about how Rupert Murdoch poisoned and rotted our public lives,” he wrote.
Former ` Breakfast presenter Dan Walker shared his frustration, saying: “I understand it’s his job to use his words to provoke a reaction, but is that how Jeremy Clarkson, or anyone, really feels about Meghan Markle? There are so many red flags in here.’

It’s been over 24 hours since Clarkson’s column was published and he has yet to deal with the backlash or retract his comments.
