Fox News Digital spoke to celebrity matchmaker Alessandra Conti and psychotherapist Dr. Robi Ludwig on why relationships between celebrities of very different ages can actually work.

Conti explained that age is usually a “not an issue” for her celebrity clients and is mostly “ambiguous.”

“Many of my celebrity clients yearn to connect with someone who is like-minded and at a similar stage in life.”

“There are a variety of challenges that come into play when there is a large age gap in a relationship. Generational gaps are a very real thing, so it’s important that a couple share similar values ​​regardless of the age difference.”

Ludwig explained that age gap relationships come with “extra benefits” for celebrities.

“There’s money, there’s fame, and there’s an opportunity to have an exciting lifestyle. A lifestyle not otherwise available to them,” she said. “There can also be a sense that the partner is a prize, which increases appreciation and reduces the stigma that some age-gap relationships experience.”
