Jeffery Epstine List: Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Michael Jackson among celebrities named in unsealed documents – Here’s Why | English Movie News

The Jeffrey Epstein list is finally out and the names of high-profile celebrities continue to grow. On Wednesday, more than 900 pages of documents from the civil lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre, a victim of her human trafficking enterprise, against Epstein's former associate Ghislaine Maxwell were released. To everyone's surprise, the highly anticipated list included the names of over 150 people, including high-profile celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Michael Jackson and Naomi Campbell.
The unsealed court documents reveal names of apparent connections and the extensive network of people linked to Epstein, who was convicted of sex trafficking allegations before his death.

However, it is important to note that several well-known public figures and actors are named in the published documents. It is important to emphasize that the inclusion of these names does not imply any wrongdoing or involvement on their part. Many of the names on the list, including Oscar winners DiCaprio, Blanchette, Lucas and others, were only mentioned in passing and did not imply that they were in any way connected to Epstein.

In the document, one of the witnesses claimed that Epstein “would be on the phone a lot at that time, and at one point he said, 'Oh, that was Leonardo, or that was Cate Blanchett, or Bruce Willis. Something like that.” “

When the person was further probed to see if they had met Leonardo DiCaprio, the answer was, “I haven't.”

Naomi Campbell was mentioned in the transcripts and in a video. Her name appeared on the list when a victim recounted an incident involving giving an unknown man an erotic massage and sexual intercourse “around the same time that Naomi Campbell was having a birthday party” at a French hotel , at which Epstein and Ghislaine were present.

Meanwhile, according to the documents, a witness said he met Michael Jackson but denied giving him a massage.

Other prominent names include Kevin Spacey, Bruce Willis, Cameron Diaz and George Lucas as well as actors already mentioned
In a document containing the transcription of alleged victim Johanna Sjoberg's May 2016 statement, she was questioned about encounters with various high-profile figures. Sjoberg denied being forced to massage celebrities such as George Lucas and President Donald Trump.

The revelation of these names has sparked discussions about the extent of Epstein's connections within the celebrity sphere and raised questions about the nature of her connection to the disgraced financier.
Certain sections of the records remain secret, particularly those that reveal the identities of people who were minors when they were sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein, who faced sex trafficking charges, died by suicide in a federal prison in Manhattan in August 2019 while awaiting trial.

In 2021, Maxwell was found guilty of exploiting and trafficking underage girls and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. She then appealed her conviction.
It is important to note that to date, with the exception of Epstein and Maxwell, none of the individuals named in the recent documents have been prosecuted.
