Indian American Celebrities Attend Pre-Show Reception, Performance of ‘Life of Pi’ on Broadway

Celebrities and prominent members of the Indian-American community gathered on March 14 to celebrate “Life of Pi,” which has just begun live performances in New York City. Padma Lakshmi, Nik Dodani, Danny Pudi, Payal Kadakia, Bing Chen and many others gathered for the pre-show reception at the Hard Rock Hotel and the play’s evening performance, accompanied by playwright Lolita Chakrabarti and the cast, including the Olivier Award winner Hiran Abeysekera. The production is currently in previews on Broadway, with the official premiere scheduled for March 30th.
