Hong Kong celebrities Nicholas Tse and Faye Wong have not split up, contrary to media reports 

KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 (Reuters) – Hong Kong actor and chef Nicholas Tse has criticized the media, which constantly use his relationship with singer Faye Wong as tabloids.

Tse had to prove his nine-year relationship with Wong was still solid after various media outlets reported the couple had split.

Citing sources, the media had claimed the couple parted ways amicably.

However, when asked for confirmation, Tse denied breaking up with Wong, Ming Pao reported.

“Stop messing with us, huh? Go away,” the 42-year-old is said to have said.

According to Asia One, this wasn’t the first time rumors of a falling out between the couple surfaced.

They reportedly split last November after a short video of Wong made the rounds on social media. It showed the 53-year-old leaving a gathering with her hair disheveled and looking like she was crying.

Social media users concluded that she and Tse had split back when they were last seen together in public in April 2021.

However, the couple was spotted together at Beijing Capital International Airport on March 11 this year. Wong was also spotted embracing Tse at the same airport on March 16.

The couple first began dating in the late 1990s before separating in 2002 and Tse married Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung in September 2006.

However, their marriage ended in June 2011.

Tse and Wong reportedly rekindled their relationship in September 2014 when they were spotted kissing at Wong’s apartment and spending time together.
