INDIANAPOLIS – When the stars of the NBA descend on Indianapolis for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, they will also bring dozens of celebrities to town.
Several stars from the world of music will appear as part of the game's festivities, while other celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment will attend the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday, February 16 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The All-Star Weekend festivities will kick off with two local stars, including Indiana Fever legend and Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings and Indianapolis native actor/comedian Mike Epps, hosting the opening ceremony of the weekend festivities on “The Tip Off.” .
Here are some of the other celebrities we might see downtown:
Concerts
- Machine Gun Kelly and DJ Diesel, aka Shaquille O'Neal, will perform during the “NBA on TNT American Express Road Show” on Thursday, February 15 at the Indiana Convention Center. The event is free, but tickets are required.
- T-Pain and DJ Zedd will perform during the NBA Crossover Concert Series at the Indiana Convention Center on Friday, February 16 at 9 p.m.
- Boosie performs at the Vogue Theater in Broad Ripple on Friday, February 16, at 11 p.m.
- Keith Urban and Walker Hayes will perform during the NBA Crossover Concert Series at the Indiana Convention Center on Saturday, February 17, at 3 p.m.
- 2 Chainz performs at the Vogue Theater in Broad Ripple on Saturday, February 17, at 11 p.m.
- Lil Wayne will perform during the NBA Crossover Concert Series at the Indiana Convention Center on Sunday, February 18 at 3 p.m.

All-Star Celebrity Game
On Wednesday, February 7, the NBA and ESPN announced the rosters and coaches for the Celebrity All-Star Game, scheduled to take place on Friday, February 16, at 7 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
