TikTok star Gina Tew hinted to her nearly one million followers that a celebrity may have transmitted her HIV.
Tew, who is in her late 20s, was diagnosed with HIV in 2021. She said she was confident that the person who transmitted it to her was a certain “celebrity man” with whom she had “been sexually active on and off for years” and “actually had feelings for.” .”
The influencer was alerted to an interview with the unnamed celebrity by someone she knew, prompting Tew to reconsider how she contracted the virus. She opened up about how she “dealed with the police about this person’s sexual conduct” and said his remarks in the interview got her thinking.

Tew hinted that the person was discussing STDs and was “living his best life,” but may also have engaged in risky behavior in his sex life.
“I don’t know if I want to put it down any longer because what if that was the person who did this to me,” she said to the camera.
“But hey, no guessing, because that just sucks us and you, they say. I’ll never know, will I?”
Tew added: “I just don’t like to see things like that. I wake up and it ruins my whole day because I don’t think about these things for that reason…because I have it now (HIV), I’m half blind from it.
“But if you did this to me and you held that against me, that’s just a lot… I don’t know what to do, but I’ll just let it go.”
She added in the video’s caption, “I just feel gross and irritated. It is what it is, but I will never blame anyone without proof.”

In another video, Tew dismissed her fans, who wanted her to name the celebrity, largely because she wanted to pursue the matter “legally.”
“For my peace of mind, my sanity and my clarity: this has been bothering me for a while and I pushed it aside,” she began.
“It’s so hard to say things without saying things. I’ll get to the bottom of it. It’s going to take a while, but you know, just bear with me.”
Tew told her fans that it would take time to pursue the matter legally and that she couldn’t go public with the name just in case she misunderstood something.

Since publicly announcing her HIV diagnosis in March 2022, she has regularly updated her fans about her health.
Her weight had dropped to 65 pounds and muscle wasting had temporarily weakened her legs. Other issues the model struggled with included an inability to walk unaided and blindness in one of her eyes.
But Tew’s health has improved recently, her weight has risen to over 100 pounds and her blood CD4 count has increased as a result of the treatment.
In a TikTok post in June, she explained the importance of the CD4 count, saying: “It means I’m no longer seen as such [having] AIDS. I am seen as [having] HIV. HIV! Yes! Does that mean I reversed it? Yes, a little bit. And do you know how? I take my medication every day.
“I’ve gotten to the point where I’m undetectable, non-transmissible and able to live my life like everyone else. I mean, of course I’m sitting in a chair and I’m half blind. But still, we “We’re working on it… Y’all, I’m so happy.”
