Celebrities may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Wiltshire, but there are many with ties to the county.
Towards the end of the year we took a look at what famous faces with ties to Wiltshire have been up to over the last 12 months.

Swindon-born Billie Piper ended her year to rave reviews for I Hate Suzie Too, the I Hate Suzie sequel which she co-created and starred in.
The Independent said her performance cemented her as one of Britain’s finest actresses, while the Guardian described the show as fearlessly great.
She also teased that she would be willing to reprise her role as Rose Tyler in a Doctor Who spin-off if it were filmed in London.

Nick Hewer returned to our screens this year.
Former training adviser Nick Hewer, also born in Swindon, came out of retirement after leaving Countdown in 2021.
In April, he unexpectedly returned to our screens on the ` program Pilgrimage: The Road to the Scottish Isles, leading him to appreciate the “extraordinary effect of nature”.
He joined cricket legend Monty Panesar, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt and others on a 15-day pilgrimage from Donegal to the Scottish island of Iona, visiting places of worship along the way.
Reality TV Star Award
Another Apprentice graduate, Swindon’s Kathryn Louise Burn, was named Reality TV Personality of the Year 2022 at the National Reality Television Awards after reaching the finals of the ` show.
Ms Burn, a former Dorcan Technology College student, won the award in August and also started a pajama business.
She told this newspaper: “It’s nice that people took the time to vote for me, it means a lot to me. I did The Apprentice for my business and the opportunities that came out of it have been amazing.”

Wiltshire “influencers” Elle and Connor Swift, who live together in Westbury, came under fire in January after their historic racist tweets were unearthed.
The couple, who together have over 800,000 Instagram followers, have been forced to apologize after dozens of tweets discriminating against minorities were discovered.
They were dropped by their management agency, Gleam Futures, before reappearing in August to announce their Ibiza wedding.
Youtuber’s Bake-Off Mishap Remembered
Lacock-born Youtuber Joe Sugg’s fainting on The Great British Bake Off in 2020 has been heralded as the most-watched mishap of the show’s 13 seasons.
Ahead of this year’s season, it was revealed that the moment Mr Sugg passed out after cutting his finger on a vegetable peeler had been viewed 1.7 million times on Youtube.
