Melbourne singer Joanne Accom looked unrecognizable during a rare interview on The Kyle and Jackie O show on Monday.

The legendary Australian pop star appeared on Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson’s radio show in the ‘Remember Me’ segment.

Joanne revealed she is celebrating 25 years since the release of her 1998 hit “Jackie” with BZ.

“Why did you stop? “You were the biggest thing on the radio, everyone loved Joanne and the songs were huge hits,” Kyle asked.

“I was very lucky. Actually, I never stopped performing. “I’m celebrating my 25th anniversary again and have a new version of Jackie’s song,” Joanne revealed.

Kyle told listeners that he appeared in the video clip for the original song.

Then he asked, ‘Did you move away and start a family or get married?’ What did you do with yourself?’

“Life has been so good to me.” I am not married. “I have three fur babies and a wonderful family and circle of friends,” she said.

Joanne continued: “I continued to sing and write, but I took a step back from my career as a musician.”

“It’s a really nice time to be in that nostalgic place where it all started and come back fresh. I’m really looking forward to it.”

She said she is looking forward to releasing a new version of her iconic song and touring again.

Jackie reached No. 3 on the ARIA charts and was the best-selling single in Australia in 1999.
