ComplexCon 2023 returns to Long Beach with rare shoes, streetwear and celebrities • the Hi-lo

Thousands of sneakerheads and streetwear enthusiasts gathered at the Long Beach Convention Center on Saturday for this year’s ComplexCon to shop designer items and explore the next waves of pop culture and fashion.

The annual event aims to bring together influential brands and artists from around the world to showcase and celebrate style, sneakers, art, design, music and food, among other things.

This year’s ComplexCon featured exhibitions from artists and designers like Chris Pyrate and Takashi Murakami, with styles that were vibrant, playful, dark, and even edgy. Brand collaborations and rare shoes from Nike, Adidas, Asics and Crocs, among many others, were also on display and available for purchase.

Russell Westbrook of the Los Angeles Clippers appeared with his son at the Marathon Clothing pop-up, and Hot Wings interview show host “Hot Ones” Sean Evans came to speak with guests and promote his food and culture brand “First We Feast” which featured a number of food vendors on site.

The main stage featured musical performances from Zack Bia as well as a DJ set from Lil Yachty. Kid Cudi is scheduled to perform on Sunday.
