=The Harry Potter star released his memoir Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard in October 2022, revealing his drug abuse struggles. “It got to the point where I didn’t believe in having a drink at work anymore,” the actor wrote of the difficult time in his life after filming for the franchise wrapped. Felton eventually entered rehab three times.
“It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make,” he wrote of deciding to enter a treatment program for the third time. (He left the first and was kicked out of the second after being found in a patient’s room.) Felton shared that he hopes his story will help others who are struggling with the same or similar situations.
