There’s nothing worse in a relationship than having in-laws you can’t get along with. Thankfully, these celebrities get along fantastically with their in-laws — daughters, sons, moms, dads and siblings alike — and they’ve shown the world just how much they love their spouse’s family.

Some have celebrated their special bond with sentimental speeches, such as Kelly Clarkson delivered at the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors honoring Reba McEntire. “When we meet our heroes, sometimes things don’t go the way we hope. After delivering an incredibly sweet, sentimental speech about her husband Ryan Reynolds ahead of the 36th American Cinematheque Awards ceremony, Blake Lively sent a special shout out to her in-laws.

While Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock’s 2022 divorce was a messy affair, the “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” singer is still close with his former stepmother, Reba McEntire. The legendary country singer even appeared on The Voice in February 2023 to coach Clarkson’s team!

At the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors, two years before Clarkson filed for divorce, she paid tribute to McEntire. “When we meet our heroes, sometimes things don’t go the way we hope. But getting to know Reba — being friends with her and eventually becoming family — has really been one of the highlights of my life,” the talk show host gushed.

The Matrix Revolutions actress told Condé Nast Traveler about an island trip all three couples took, and shared, “My husband [Nick Jonas] had organized a writing camp with his brothers [Kevin and Joe] and producers, and I accompanied their spouses, who are close friends of mine.”

After describing their activities and adventures, Chopra told Jonas, “Spending days like this with the people who are close to me is what vacation is about.” And that trip just before the world changed was really magical. At the end of the day, life is about making memories, right?”

After Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker announced their baby news, Kris Jenner gushed on her Instagram Story, “Happy birthday to you both!!!!!!! I love you so much!!!! 🤍 @kourtneykardash @travisbarker.”

When the couple married, Jenner became even more sentimental on social media.
