Celebrities React to Quiet on Set Allegation Bombshells

Kenan Thompson

Before Kenan Thompson He became one of Saturday Night Live's biggest stars and began his career on the kid-oriented sketch show All That. Schneider was one of the producers of “All That” and worked for one season on Thompson’s other popular show, “Kenan and Kel.” Thompson addressed the allegations in “Quiet on Set” during an interview on The Tamron Hall Show, but clarified that he had not seen the docuseries.

“It's a difficult subject, you know?” Thompson told the host Tamron Hall. “It's difficult for me because I can't talk about things I've never seen. All of these things happened after I left. Dan wasn't really into Kenan and Kel. He got the Created By credit, but it was a different showrunner, so our worlds didn't necessarily overlap that much outside of All That. Then all this negativity started outside of our tenure there.”

Thompson continued: “I was unaware of much of this, but my condolences go out to anyone who was victimized or their families. I think it's good that the documentary is coming out and it showcases things that need to be, stories that need to be told for accountability, but it's definitely hard to watch because I have fond memories of this one place.”
