The Kering Foundation held its first-ever Caring for Women dinner to raise money for those who have been victims of domestic violence. Hosted in New York at the always exclusive The Pool venue, Kering Chairman François-Henri Pinault and his Oscar-nominated wife Salma Hayek made sure everyone could support it.

The event, hosted by Anderson Cooper, reportedly raised approximately $3 million for charities including Ms. Foundation for Women, the National Network to End Domestic Violence, Global Fund for Women and the Jordan River Foundation, according to `. Let’s give it a round of applause!

Along with Hayek and her husband, Gisele Bundchen, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Samuel L. Jackson, Julie Mehretu, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and Gloria Steinem co-chaired the opening dinner.

Not only was the event jam-packed with popular celebrities (many of whom made super-rare red carpet appearances), but they all came to dinner in true, dramatic style. From Hayek’s glittering gown to Steinem’s rockin’ ensemble, this red carpet couldn’t be missed.
