LeBron James finally made NBA history Tuesday night by overtaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the league’s all-time leading scorer. Several notable figures and celebrities were quick to congratulate the “King” on his tremendous achievement.
Jay-Z, Floyd Mayweather, Bad Bunny and Denzel Washington were among the well-known celebrities in attendance, but there were many who took to social media to say hello to James.

Over the course of his 20-year career, LeBron James has received many awards. With multiple NBA titles, MVP awards, and All-Star selections, James has already established himself as one of the greatest players to play the game.
His latest achievement, however, is arguably his greatest. James needed 36 points to overtake Abdul-Jabbar as the leading scorer in the NBA, and he accomplished the feat late in the third quarter with a fadeaway jumper.

The night is undoubtedly a special one for LeBron James as he made NBA history. Unfortunately, the LA Lakers are struggling to stay alive in the game.
Purple and Gold, currently facing a significant deficit in the fourth quarter, are on the verge of losing their second straight game. A loss would drop them even further down the Western Conference rankings.
With only a handful of games left this season, the Lakers need every win they can get. James has his usual dominant self, but without the necessary help, keeping their season alive seems like a tall order for the Lakers.
