Mother’s Day is extra special for mothers whose journey to motherhood has been more difficult than most.
Numerous celebrity mothers have spoken about their difficulties with having a child and how they overcame them by conceiving through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
IVF is a medical procedure in which an egg and sperm are brought together outside the body and the resulting embryo is then transferred to the uterus.
For couples struggling with pregnancy and fertility issues, the traditional method of parenting may not always be an option. In such cases, IVF is becoming increasingly popular.
As well as inspiring others who have faced similar struggles, these celebrity moms have shown us that motherhood is a gift that should be cherished and celebrated no matter how it comes about.
