These five celebrities got embroiled in ugly legal battles.

Hollywood has seen its fair share of drama.

And while it may be difficult to recall the pre-Johnny Depp-Amber Heard era, there were plenty of legal cases that were highlighted in the past.

While some innocents have been caught up in ugly lawsuits, there have also been some notable celebrities who have been criminally convicted.

Here are five such celebrities who have faced tough legal battles.

Musician Marilyn Manson is known to have the most lawsuits against her, whether it’s for sexual assault or mental abuse.

The first allegation was reportedly made by actor Evan Rachel Wood. Four other women opened up afterwards.

Two male security guards also reportedly filed sexual assault lawsuits against Manson.

His ex-assistant recently accused him of assault, harassment and assault. The case was dismissed.

Pop singer Britney Spears was under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears for 13 years.

She claimed that during this time she was coerced into performing, birth control and taking medication.

Sr. Spears also reportedly placed a recorder in the singer’s room.

Now her father faces an affidavit in which he must reveal the “insane” details of the conservatory.

Rapper Travis Scott has faced hundreds of lawsuits since his tragedy at the Astroworld Festival, leaving audiences exposed to a deadly onslaught that resulted in multiple deaths.

Scott is also facing a lawsuit from a Rolling Loud Miami festivalgoer who was “severely injured” during a concert in May 2019.

The rapper is allegedly accused of ignoring demands from the police to stop the “uncontrollable” concert.

Actor Alec Baldwin has been sued by the family of Halyna Hutchins, the cinematographer who was killed by a prop gun misfire in October 2021.

Rust’s production team has been accused of hiring “inexperienced and unqualified” gunsmiths and security personnel.

The lawsuit also alleges that Baldwin violated “at least 15 industry standards” that caused the misfires.

Baldwin fired a single bullet that reportedly killed Hutchins.

On May 25, TV personality Josh Duggar was reportedly sentenced to 151 months in prison for possession and receipt of child pornography.

The 34-year-old was found guilty of the accused crimes in a six-day trial in December 2021.

Duggar has faced other heinous sexual abuse allegations. These include allegations from five minors and his own sisters when he was a teenager.
