Many celebrities have an income that allows them to do almost anything. But more and more female stars are choosing to do the same thing with their hard-earned money: invest it in women’s health.

Celebrities from Sophia Bush to Oprah Winfrey are investing in companies focused on behavioral health, telehealth, reproductive care and more – all with the goal of helping women. Women’s health has not traditionally been a focus of investors, making these moves even more important.

So which celebrities are working to support women in their careers? Here’s a breakdown.

  • Serena Williams

    Serena Williams has stakes in several women’s health companies through her venture capital fund Serena Ventures. The company has weight loss platform Noom, digital maternal health platform Mahmee, women’s health products maker Lola, core and pelvic floor care company Every Mother, menopause supplement company Wile, at-home cervical cancer screening company Teal Health, and Virtual supports couples therapy platform Ours.

    Williams has repeatedly stressed the importance of investing in women’s health, including as she joined forces with Mahmee. “I am incredibly excited to invest and partner with Mahmee, a company that embodies my company’s investment philosophy,” she said in a statement at the time, according to Forbes. “Given the grim data on maternal mortality and injury rates, I believe it is now absolutely critical to invest in solutions that help protect the lives of mothers and babies.”

  • Oprah Winfrey

    Oprah Winfrey is an investor in Maven Clinic, the largest virtual women’s and family health clinic. She also owns a stake in WW (formerly WeightWatchers), which offers several programs to support women. “Rituals are important for stabilizing changes in your life,” Winfrey said via WW. “WW and I both know how important it is to have regular support and other people who believe like you, inspire you and help you make changes. These events are our meeting place.”

    One Tree Hill and Chicago PD star Sophia Bush has worked with her business partner Nia Linder Batts to invest in several women-owned companies. Her latest venture is Oya FemTech Apparel, a company that makes soft clothing designed to repel odors and reduce the risk of irritation. “It’s not just like that [founder Mitchella Gilbert] “They are an innovator, but they ensure that the latest and greatest technology always meets their rigorous standards by testing a utility model that protects both the integrity of the product and the consumers who wear it as the company grows.” , wrote Sophia on Instagram. These leggings feature a breathable, replaceable pad and panels that promote ventilation on the inner thigh. “They solve a problem that many established brands continue to overlook,” Bush said.

    Bush also announced on Instagram in August that she was “so proud” to invest in Aunt Flow, a company that offers free period products. “They are replacing outdated, coin-operated tampon dispensers with patented, over-the-counter product dispensers that are rust-resistant, hold five times the product and take just 30 seconds to reload,” Bush wrote on Instagram. The donors “enable schools and businesses to provide 100% organic cotton tampons and pads for free,” she added.

  • Gwyneth Paltrow

    Gwyneth Paltrow is known for her website Goop, where she regularly posts information about alternative feminine care treatments. She has invested in a number of companies focused on women’s health, including fertility clinic KindBody, mental health platform Real, clean medicine company Genexa and menopause solutions brand Evernow.

    “I am honored to support Kindbody in its mission to provide global access to quality health and fertility care for women,” Paltrow said in 2021. “I believe Kindbody’s commitment to breaking down barriers to care “Committing to diversity and improving the patient experience will drive significant change in the healthcare system.”

    JLo has made some investments in women’s health. She supports Hims & Hers, the telehealth company that sells prescription and over-the-counter medications online, and Sarva, a yoga and wellness startup. “We’re always focused on catering to people who grew up the way we did,” Lopez told PEOPLE of her partnership with Hims & Hers alongside her then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez. “We saw this as a company that offered a modern approach to health and wellbeing in a responsible and accessible way. It’s so great to be a part of it.” Lopez also launched Limitless Labs, which works to raise funds for Latin American entrepreneurs.

  • Maria Sharapova

    Former tennis star Maria Sharapova’s investment in women’s health is all about fitness. She is an investor in both the home studio Tonal and the beauty and wellness brand Therabody, which makes the popular Theragun.

    “The world of fitness is so personal and individual. That’s what Tonal is made for,” Sharapova told Fortune. “This happens through technology that is made for you, not just all your friends. I think that’s what’s so impressive.”

  • Halle Berry

    Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is involved in probiotics company Pendulum Therapeutics and also serves as an advisor to the brand. “After taking the product for a year and a half, I just feel better all over and healthier,” Berry told Harper’s Bazaar earlier this year. “Ultimately, Pendulum let me come on board and invest and came up with the idea that as chief communications officer, I could spread that message to other people to help them understand how to become healthier and live better lives.”

  • Gabrielle Union

    Bring It On alum Gabrielle Union has invested in KindBody, a technology-enabled fertility clinic. Union shared during an appearance on the We Can Do Hard Things podcast that her investment was inspired by her fertility journey.

    “When someone loves your love, they want that love to spread and produce more children, and so the questions are constantly asked,” she said. “If you’re someone who’s well known or in the spotlight, there are literally millions of people who care about you not getting your period and about you being able to create that life and live that life and do the right things to to show that. “You deserve this life and that you are worthy of this life, and when that doesn’t happen, it feels like this public flogging.”

  • Cindy Crawford

    Supermodel Cindy Crawford is an investor in Prenuvo, a company that offers full-body MRI scans to detect cancer and other diseases. Crawford hasn’t spoken publicly about her investment, but the company has generated a lot of buzz. It was also recently featured on an episode of The Kardashians after Kris Jenner underwent a scan and was told she was in 40-year-old health.

  • Megan Rapinoe

    Soccer star Megan Rapinoe is an investor in mental health platform Real. “My financial advisor and firm are heavily involved in impact investing in my personal financial portfolio,” Rapinoe told Forbes. “Of course we are trying to make money and be successful, but we also want something that is disruptive and shows a new way forward. I don’t think we can just carry on like this.”

  • Mindy Kaling

    In addition to Winfrey, Mindy Kaling is an investor in the virtual clinic Maven. She also endorses the skin care brand Lion Pose. “We did a Zoom and they were top students,” Kaling told People of Lion Pose founders. “They had this great vision and this product that they loved, and they also had, which was nice given my job, this passion for more representation in clinical healthcare and skin care. In 2021, Witherspoon tweeted about the company’s impact, writing, “Check out the incredible work @mavenclinic is doing in women’s and maternal health. Game changers in modern healthcare.”
